ask the audio forums
Reason is another music making software, but that one is unnecessarily hard to learn. It's for the professionals. :) I use FL Studio (Fruity Loops), which is quite easy to learn and use.
I too think it's a good idea to ask the audio forums about this.

I have not made any music yet, but I'm Extremely close to getting to work on a song. Inspiration, due to Hania, of course. Look her up on the Audio portal, or Google "Hania". Also, I would be willing to give you some music software, such as Fruity Loops. ^^ Plus, I'd love to do an Audio collab with you. So, anytime you want something to work with, You can just send me a message over PM, or send me a message on AIM. ^^ AIM works alot, in both our favours.
Also, The better music software titles I know of, is Fruity Loops, *Which I Have*, Cubase, and Pro Tools. But those are just a few that I know, mainly. Still, send me a message! xD
